RockEast Energy Corp. is a start up oil and natural gas company based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with operations within the prolific Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. The company's strategy is to actively utilize advanced front-edge technologies to develop conventional light, medium, heavy oil in the Western Canada.

RockEast currently owns large land base, 340 km2 of developed and undevoped lands, in the east central Alberta focusing in the Provost, Michichi, Brooks and Medincine Hat areas. These properties are characterized by large OOIP crude oil reservoirs with low recovery factors and over 100 estimated drilling locations. RockEast has agressive plan to develop these various types of oil and gas plays through horizonal drilling and EOR technology.
